Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to me. The following is my Privacy Policy for you to understand how DiazPT collects, uses, communicates and makes use of website users’ personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to the website including all subpages and communication capabilities through messaging and chat and does not govern privacy practices associated with offline activities (which are governed by the Notice of Privacy Practice). These are the guidelines used by me, Jana Shaddix Diaz,  for my sole proprietorship, DiazPT, in protecting your privacy.

User Information

When accessing the DiazPT Site, we will learn certain information about you during your visit, even if you do not submit information to us through messaging, chat, or similar functionality; and even if you do not submit information to us through our Contact Us page. DiazPT may use server logs to record a visitor’s Internet Protocol (IP) address and to collect general information about the visit to the Site, such as the time and length of the visit, and the web pages accessed during the visit.  DiazPT  may use this information for Site management and performance monitoring only.  DiazPT  does not make this information available to unaffiliated third parties, but may share it with affiliated companies.

In addition, during your interaction with the Site, DiazPT may request information from you. If you have voluntarily submitted user information to us through an email or contact form or messaging or chat functionality, DiazPT will only use such information for the purpose that it was provided or as otherwise permitted by law.  We may retain the content of your communications with us and our responses.   If you currently receive any of our email newsletters and no longer wish to do so, you may use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter we sent to opt-out and you will no longer receive it.

Cookies are data and authentication information stored on a visitor’s computer via the use of a web browser. This storage eliminates the need for users to continue to change preferences for viewing certain aspects of the web site.

We may use cookies for a number of purposes – for example, to maintain continuity during a user session, to gather data about the usage of our web site for research and other purposes, to store your preferences for certain kinds of information and marketing offers, or to store a user name or encrypted identification number so that you do not have to provide this information every time you return to our Site.  Our cookies will track only your activity relating to your online activity on this web site, and will not track your other Internet activity. Our cookies do not gather personally identifiable information.

We may occasionally use other companies to set cookies on our web sites and gather cookie information for us. In some cases we may also use another company to operate web servers for our web site. We use the cookie information gathered by these companies in the same manner as stated above.

Outside of the information collected by Cookies, no other data is collected by the Site unless entered by a Site user when submitting a form.

The use of cookies is a common industry practice and does not give DiazPT access to the visitor’s computer.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

In order to purchase the Services on the Site, you will be required to provide certain information necessary to submit payment,  such as, without limitation, credit or debit card number, expiration date, billing zip-code, activation code, and other information related to processing your payment for the Services (collectively “Billing Information”). Such Billing Information will be processed by a third party payment vendor, such as, without limitation, Stripe or PayPal, pursuant to the terms and conditions of their privacy policy.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website (if any), we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

To prevent unauthorized access to any user information or user data, DiszPT has put in place commercially reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information it collects through this Site.  However, DiazPT cannot guarantee the security of such information.
